A cow wandered into the police station to complain about the black and white bovine bulls cow pats or the bulls infidelity with the other cows perhaps

I was watching an old episode of NCIS and Leroy Jethro Gibbs was reading "Endurance" by Alfred Lansing, the story of Shackleton's Antarctic expedition and remarkable journey to South Georgia and rescue of all of his expedition team with no loss of life.

Another bit of NCIS trivia, in another episode, Kate wondered what Dr Donald (Ducky) Mallard (David McCallum) looked like when he was young. Gibbs replied "Illya Kuryakin" (Man from U.N.C.L.E). (I can't remember if they showed a pic of him.

Can't remember if it was NCIS or Miami Vice but the cast were certainly ad libbing when:

There was an issue with the colour of pubic hair in a murder investigation. The murderer was forensically identified as female with red pubes.

Suspects were rounded up (3 strippers): one said 'Go ahead and check......... the carpet's gone but the drapes are still hanging'.

In a similar show an experienced male investigator lit up the murder scene in a room with a special light, to detect semen. Lit up the front of the top of the female apprentice investigator.

cannot send people back to America

Canadian Court Says Asylum Treaty With U.S. Is Unconstitutional

The treaty has long been criticized by human-rights advocates who said it tacitly encouraged asylum-seekers to circumvent Canada’s official land borders

The judge said it was unconstitutional because the people returned to the USA were immediately locked up in indefinite detention, which is illegal under the Refugee Convention.
Australia has been indefinitely detaining refugees for two decades, so if the Canadian ruling stands, it might make it illegal for Canada to send refugees to Australia.
Canada takes by far the most refugees to revitalise its ageing population and is a shining light in the treatment of refugees. Australia used to have a good reputation, but we trashed that and are now pointed to around the world as an example of a developed country doing it all wrong.

Prof Brian Cox says if we sit on the top deck of the bus we age fractionally faster than if we sit down below, because of gravity, so no more double-decker buses for me.

So it follows that if your arse nearly drags on the ground like in my Mazda CX-3 you can live forever? Oh Joy Oh Goodie. Not.

Are there any Double Decker Buses operating in OZ? None that I am aware of, but Adelaide had a an Electric Trolley Bus Feet in days of yore & very good they were too. Some Single deck & I think mostly Double Deckers.

    Lovely & quiet as well.

Fractionally faster is good but do we get to where we are going before those on the bottom deck?

Reminds me of a Terry Pratchett quote. Which is faster, speed of light or the speed of dark?
