Well away from any Orca's.
But not many penguins up that way no doubt.

Daylight saving has just started.
Had a laugh today reading some joker arguing that daylight saving worsens droughts by keeping the sun out a hour later each day.

Didn't seem to be able to grasp the concept that the sun still comes up and goes down unaffected by the reading on the clock. Probably a Trump supporter.
All that extra daylight saving, also makes people's curtains fade faster.[biggrin]
And all the blokes getting their morning risers on the bus on the way to work instead of in the cot.
I know a radio journo who copped a serious call from a wife, on air, with that concern.

I don't reckon politics comes in to play when it comes to good, old Sol. I once had a supposedly well educated friend i.e. a couple of Uni degrees, ask me, 'Does the sun still rise in the East in the Northern hemisphere?'
I honestly thought that they were pulling my leg but, no![bigsad]
Many years ago I was in Roma, Qld, and there was a discussion with the crew leaving for the field giving them directions how to find the field location. The boss was arguing with the man in charge of the field party, a recently arrived American, about which way was west - the American was pointing vehemently to eastern sky, which had the sun just about to appear, sure that it was west! (Obviously he was used to the sun being to the south of him during the day, not to the north.
The Tallboy, or "earthquake" bomb, is 6m (19ft) long and weighs 5.4 tonnes, nearly half of which is explosives. The RAF dropped it in a raid in 1945 which sank the German cruiser Lützow. The bomb is embedded at a depth of 12m and only its nose is sticking out.

"The bomb was discovered during dredging last year." That would have been A STOP THAT NOW moment PLUS[thumbsupbig]
The RAF also dropped a couple of others, one demolished a causeway/viaduct in Italy & also opened up an underground Rail Tunnel built into a mountainside which until it was bombed made a safe hidey hole for trains possibly loaded with armaments & the other I can't recall. Just look for a big hole in the ground.
Barns Wallis knew what he was at.
One Tallboy casing plus 1x Grand Slam was on display with the Lancaster, Gate Guardian at the entrance to RAF Scampton, Lincs.. A big ****er alright.
The Gate Guardian is being restored to be a Flying Aircraft, or was a couple of years ago. Lanc B. Mk.VII NX 611
