Honestly saw a sad sack screaming GO Away to all with a Flag Alpha up and divers down two days agoHe was rather rude in his language making a sailor blush
Flag Alpha means Proceed with Caution, keep well clear and under five knots among other things. It is not a **** off flag
Re the video I have to say coming up in murky water is a bit interesting yet it is very very easy to hear boat motors under water and Doppler effect if you know it allows me to know when to keep my head down
Another two minor thing with diver with a float dive flag is
- technically it is not the same- Common sense applies of course which is not common
- I have been dragged of the bottom by a big fish which hooked up on my line to a canoe above me once. A big manta ray took me for a spin until I got my knife to the line
The guy in the canoe was more bothered than I was
Free diving is not done naked of course
Well of course I knew that…Originally Posted by V8Ian;[URL="tel:3176879"

"Tractor maker John Deere has agreed to give its US customers the right to fix their own equipment.
Previously, farmers were only allowed to use authorised parts and service facilities rather than cheaper independent repair options.
Deere and Co. is one of the world's largest makers farming equipment.
Consumer groups have for years been calling on companies to allow their customers to be able to fix everything from smartphones to tractors.
The American Farm Bureau Federation (AFBF) and Deere & Co. signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) on Sunday.

Autonomous driving in the Paddock "Farm equipment maker John Deere has unveiled its first automated tractor that can till a field without a driver.
The heavy-duty machine can be activated by smartphone, using cameras and sensors to navigate farmland.
Instead of being a new machine, the automated functions are a kit that can be added to some existing tractors.
But John Deere said it has not decided if it will sell the kit directly - and is considering a lease or subscription model.
