The TTX that a blue-ringed octopus injects is so deadly that 1 milligram of it can kill a human. It's one of the most potent toxins on earth, and there is no antidote.

p.s. this was on the Redcliffe Peninsula and I don't think that the Blue Ring had been reported that far South, at the time. I think it was when a soldier put one on his wrist, as a 'Watch' and paid the price, that people sat up and took notice. Don't quote me on this, as my memory isn't what it used to be.
    Cool Sir.

I did grab a decent size non poisons 1 metre tentacled one. Tossed it in the boat in a bucket and was heading back to the ramp. It tried your ones trick and was making its way out of the bucket and over to the side of the tinny. I held it while on the tiller at the back. The tentacles of course wrapped around my arm ( in a wetsuite still) A kids in the edge of the river near the boat ramp was clearly heard crying "Mum an octopus is eating that man!"

I was laughing that hard I could barely tell him the man was going to eat the Octopus His eyes almost went wider when told that!

    It was very tasty

The Jeep Wagoneer was the 1st vehicle with 4wd mated to an automatic transmission in 1963, although it did still have leaf springs all round.

So when did the Audi Quattro come onto the scene? I thought it was them that instigated the four wheel drive ban.

1882. It was Audi that got around the 4WD ban thing in the first place.
