The fire was about halfway up the road to the Mt French Lookout so quite far from the Dugandan hotel and as this is the conspiracy thread. I think it was caused by a UFO that has altered the space, time continuum as the park rangers had already closed the park entrance road on Sunday when the sign said to be closed on Tuesday the 24th October!

I am surprised that no one has written a book about all the Gubmint stuff-ups & lack of responses.

Maybe they have, but it would need to have more pages than Larousse Gastronomics.

I mean well into my retirement, as in the 1st part I plan to spend fixing up my house so that it is ready for sale when/if I need to go into a home and I plan to write the novel there where I have nothing else to do, except play bingo or whatever or if still in my own house too old to do anything physical so will write instead. I've already decided it will be in the style of Victor Hugo's Les Misérables, so will have a plot but with lots of digressions.
