Unless Sailor boy (bouy?) beats me to it, I'm going to nominate myself for a Nobel Prize.
I have a plan that will drastically reduce our dependence on fossil fuels and simultaneously reduce sea levels, winner, winner, chicken dinner.
Firstly, we need to reintroduce whaling. The product from the whales can replace much of the fossil oil.
Secondly, with all the whales taken out of the sea, the levels will naturally go down.
In fact, I think the exponential increase in whale population, over the past half century is the major factor in raising sea levels.
