I’ll only buy brand name milk
    Harvey Fresh, Brownes, etc

I’ll only buy meat from butchers
Local to where I’m eating it if possible
That’s if it doesn’t come off my own farm ( butchered locally )

I’ll only buy fruit and veggies from local suppliers or my own garden

I shop at the local IGA, if I do go to coles or woolies I refuse to use self serve checkouts

I try and buy fuel from a servo who still pumps it for you

I’ll only shop at local hardwares

I will buy Australian made over made in China ( And others )

I know it costs me more, but I have kids who will want a job one day ( even if it is serving you at the local shop )
When they’re old enough hopefully my stubbornness has created a job in the local economy for them

I’m sure if enough people think about there kids future and the future of Australia and support the local economy then we might have a chance

Buy Australian made, buy from a local producer, holiday in Australia and as one of those tossers in Canberra once said “ Make Australia Great Again “.

The farmers contracted to other brands (not Woolies or coles) do get a higher gate price, it’s not three times higher but it enough their head above water (milk).

To my surprise we come across one of these on our last trip, other than that I haven’t seen an old school service station in 20 years.

The farmers don't know how much they're getting for the product when it leaves the farm. Later they get a statement telling them that X% went to premium milk at $A per litre, Y% went to supermarket milk at less than $A per litre and Z% went to other products.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
