Steady drizzle overnight in Maleny and a thick fog, which made coming down the mountain early this morning towing the camper more interesting than usual. BOM is predicting up to 30mm today.
Not another drop here at Norman Park since monday night's storm.

Started raing here on the way to town this morning. Had 10mm by the time I got home. This won't break the drought, but will put some water in the tanks.

That's great. Hope you get lots.
Been raining steadily here all day and there are plenty of clouds heading south, so I hope they reach you.
13mm is what we ended up with.
If you believe the forecast, little rain is expected today, but weather should get wetter, with 80% chance of 5-15mm on Sunday and 65% chance of 5-15mm on Monday.

Steady rain here in Westlake this morning , tanks are now full some of the excess water flowing through the rain diverter into the pool . DSCN4268.jpg
Also rain is heavy enough to go through shade sail into the pool.DSCN4269.jpg I made the mistake to pump water out of the pool when we last had rain a couple of weeks ago because BOM said we were going to get a heap of rain but forgot I had the pump on & pumped too much out.
Depending on the cyclone they say is forming over in WA we should get some more rain here in Qld in the next week or so.![]()
The grass around the pool is artificial that is why it is green but the rest of our real grass , what is left of it is getting there.
Raining like buggery here at Norman Park since 5.00 am after threatening all night with spits and spots. Is this the promised rain bomb?

Yep, here too and getting heavier. Grandson wants a ride to school to avoid getting wet.
BOM says Maleny has had 41mm since 9am yesterday. It was only showing 10 last night, so most of that was overnight.
The local platypuses would be loving it.
Last year we were 615mm below average so we have a lot to catch up.
Hope it rolls right down through the fire areas and breaks the drought everywhere.
It is platypi. You will be getting a Notice of Chastisement from Ron.
