I bought a flail mower for the tractor last July and have had no reason to really use it in anger, until yesterday.
It did a lot better job than I expected. Not as good as the Grillo but, not far off! I'm glad I paid the extra for the hydraulic side shift, too.

No flail mower in that picture, some tea leaf has lifted it!

7mm (and a white tail spider) in the gauge here since it started raining in earnest this morning at about 09:00.

Yes, I see a cold snap is predicted for the weekend in SE Godzown. May have to break out the cold weather clothes I put away after we fled Tassie.

Due here tonight. We have the fascinating situation where the forecast maximum tomorrow is at 0430, with the minimum about 1000 and another peak in mid afternoon six degrees below the early morning maximum. And Friday even colder.

Here is a link to the Brisbane forecast by BOM.

    Brisbane Forecast

A couple of cool mornings on Saturday and Sunday otherwise normal pleasant Queensland weather.

No snow ever here, Navy Diver. Any one who likes snow should go and live a winter in places like Omaha and Milwaukee. I did. A few months of Midwest or Great Plains winter will get rid of any liking for snow. People in Omaha told me the only people who like snow are winter sports enthusiasts and tourists. Everybody else hates it with a vengeance.
