Talking about Circles I did a little ME time or really for the significant other time. Two days R&R at the beach Around Port Phillip bay on the away home took me past the Point Nepean quarantine station. First starting in 1850s! I had thought it was the 1919 flu pandemic. I was almost 70 years out

Circles oddly as Federal Gov is now building another quarantine station for 200 odd million Vic Gov gets to pay the cost of running it?

    "Mickleham quarantine camp"

I left the kids at home and was NOT a grumpy old bugger for the very relaxing days off

Its very easy to tell a new drive as we can see and hear them swearing as they roll back down the hill
Very happy dayz. I did sent a compliment to all the poor council people who I have a phone or email address for

I twigged the problem was there was nothing else in the bin, so no weight behind the foam to push it out, but for the bastards to do that 2 weeks running I thought was a bit rough.

    I'm not grumpy though.... much.
Styrofoam must be garbo's kryptonite, as I put some in my bin last week, didn't stuff it in and it had some weight behind it to push it out, but when I got back in the evening two pieces were lying on the ground, so the trick might be to tape it all together as well, grrr more things to worry about.

Why not tape it all to a double Breezeblock, that should sort him out.

Or you can dispose of it by mixing equal weights of styrofoam and petrol with an added mothball or two....oh wait, my mis-spent youth is coming to the fore!

Some of these Drivers/Operators can be lazy bastards & too tired to get out out of their own way so if they are a bit clumsy & drop stuff on it's way to their bin they find it easier to simply leave it where it falls then move right along & let somebody else pick it up. Shouldn't be much of an effort for them as the trucks are normally LH Drive when they are picking up & just needs the bod to step out.

My gripe is when the Bin doesn't release from the forks & they still drive off & you have to retrieve one's bin from "20km" down the road. That really, really, really, ****es me off.

Maybe it is a game they play to have a break from their exciting/"humdrum" life?

It's a sacking offense at some large transport companies and monitored with driver facing cameras.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Gawd Strewth! Imagine being the poor sod who does the monitoring! Going by the visages of transport drivers that I know, it would be like a Stephen King movie.
