When ever a question is answered correctly you get a drawn out "Correeeeeeeeeect" through his nose.

If I could get my hands inside the Smart I could cheerfully throttle him at the risk of Electroplating myself but that risk could be worth it if it shuts him up.

No, she won't change channels. Tried that. What next ?

Nothing to do with in-reality TV but, I just had one of the worst weeks for a looong time.
    And I wasn't even here!
Drove down to the Curry last Wednesday. On the Wednesday we were getting a new Donga delivered, I had arranged everybody & everything before I left. So everybody's there & ready to go when - the Crain drops the Donga! Smashed floor & other damage which I am now trying to negotiate repairs with the folks employed to fit up the Donga.
2 days later I get a phone call, "We have **** & water all over the compound!"
OK, the pump in the main septic tank has failed, get the spare pump & re-fit. Easy.
Somehow my mighty staff managed to hook it up in such a way that they broke the pipe from the pump. So no pump. I arrive back on Monday to 5 acers of water, **** & loo paper all over the yard. All fixed by Tuesday 12 noon, now just waiting for the stink to dissipate.
    But wait, there's more!
Got home Monday about 3pm, assistant manager starts going on about staff not working etc, I, being a little ****ed off, said something about being in Doomadgee where it is not the real world so deal with it!
Half an hour latter I was handed 4 resignations. Assistant, partner, Cook & partner.
This after last week having a performance review with the A/m & complimenting her.
This has also ****ed me off! I really don't care if they go but the timing is lousy. I have just started several projects & expansion plans which will all go on the back burner now. Not to mention how hard it is to get good staff to work in remote areas.
    Back to SEEK I guess.
    Rant complete.

I’d like to coin a new word if I may: “antijanusian ”. Janus was the ancient Roman God of Portals. That is coming and going, beginning and ending and all related matters. Hence January beginning the calendar year. These people are the ones who leave stuff in doorways, pathways and general high traffic areas. They never want to go anywhere and they never want to leave once they’re there. When they do decide to go they’ll get you off your arse to stand around like a shag on a rock while they take an Hour to say goodby. Who knows someone like that?
    Cheers, Billy.

Touchy bastards like that & without a sense of humour don't deserve a job. Best got rid anyway. You'll manage Paul. I think it's called got yer by the balls.

Mutinous bastards, hang 'em all up from the nearest suitable tree & don't forget to take a lot of images whilst hangin' up there.

    Cap'n Bligh would have.

Interesting that the American word for caretaker, janitor, has the same root....

Yep. No FTA TV here, and I have dumped all pay mobs as well. Apart from Kayo in the footy months. YT has a huge range of free movies if I can be bothered. CuriosityStream has some quite interesting stuff for about a buck a month.

Any one want to play catch? Suspect low chance but love the idea of watching some one try

Space agencies are tracking the path of a Chinese rocket that is predicted to fall back to Earth some time in the next few days.
Last week, the Long March 5B rocket launched the first stage of the Chinese space station Tianhe into low-Earth orbit.
Under international guidelines, rockets are supposed to return to Earth in a controlled way, but the 30-metre-long rocket is spiralling out of control.
Weighing around 22.5 tonnes, it's one of the most massive pieces of space junk to make an uncontrolled re-entry to Earth.
"This is probably among the top 10 largest objects to come down inone piece," said space junk expert Ted Muelhaupt of the Aerospace Corporation, a not-for-profit organisation that advises US government space and defence agencies.

Time frame " At the time of writing, they predicted the rocket would fall to Earth at lunchtime this Sunday (AEST) give or take a day or so.

Others have given a time range of between 11:00am on Saturday and 5:00am on Monday.
But expect that to change as new data comes in. "

Odds are it will get wet yet skylab proved we can get lucky
