Grumpy old buggers thread

Hi,
I wrote the code in the owner's manual, but have not needed it as it never gets turned on. Can't stand the stuff they spew out, and anything worth listening to is available online.

That's a bit harsh Ron, there are multiple people on here who have enjoyed sterling service from their Volvos.

I wanted to get a 1 or 2 series Ovlov and put a Barra in it. Things are built better than most tanks. Good brakes too considering the age.

Had a couple of them, and a red one, and a few white ones.
My son is still driving one of the white ones, he is proud of the fact that he doesn't own a car younger than him.
His two eldest kids both own Two and Seven Series, not bad for the kid who used to say to me, "Dad, can you park down the road?" if I was going to pick him up from school. [bigrolf]

No need, Volvo had a championship winning formula....The*Volvo Dealer Team*was an Australian motor racing team that competed in Australian*touring car racing*in*1986*winning the*Australian Touring Car Championship....from Wikimedia Error to mention their success overseas.

We used to cop it on the very rare occasion we got picked up from school by Mum in the S1.

Other kids used to say what the hell is that thing,as there were very few around.

I remember one of my brothers friends getting a lift as well,and he queried what the yellow and red things are for.[biggrin]

There was always a fight for the two front seats,while the rest of us just piled in the back and sat on the metal as there were no seats in the back.

On a long trip we had the luxury of sitting on a towel or pillow.[thumbsupbig]
