I seem to have spent all day on the phone - with very little progress, mostly on hold.

Firstly my bank, for explanation of an email I got from them 26 minutes on hold, after fifteen minutes trying to find an answer on their website, including ten minutes arguing with a "digital assistant" which is totally useless. Then another five minutes identifying myself (having already done that at the beginning of the call, before the wait). In the end, it turns out that the gist of their email, not mentioned in the email, is that I cannot use their online banking if I have their phone application installed, and don't have mobile reception to get a texted code. I already have a gadget from the bank to provide a code for online banking login because of this problem. But I can't have both this and the phone app!

Then this afternoon I got onto a medical specialist I've been referred to by my GP. Another ten minutes on hold. Sorry, that specialist is not taking any more new referrals, go back to your GP. Call the GP. Another ten minutes on hold, to be told, no, your GP is not in today, call again Monday, no I can't take a message.

Jesus, that'd be a downgrade. As good as a barra may be, most volvo motors will out live it by an order of magnitude.
The only 2 series I saw "improved" with a non-volvo donk was a 302 Windsor done up as a touring car. That was fun.
Heck even Volvo raced the 4 cyl redblock with a honking great turbo in the Group A back in the 80's. Why **** it up with something Found On Rubbish Dump ?

Every part on my D3 that fails has FoMoCo stamped on it. It's Ford failure wrapped in LR style. Don't do that to a Volvo.

That transplant was always on my bucket list, if I could ever find a Windsor.
In a case of old dog/new dog, my son jammed a 351 Clevo under the Volvo bonnet. The sump needed a drastic cut and shut, including ears.
The steering needed rerouting, not insurmountable but also not legal.
He finally abandoned the project when he decided the V8 should be warmed up, including roller rockers, that meant the master cylinder had to be relocated.
I believed the Cleavland was too big, but he enjoyed proving me wrong. Oh well, it kept him off the streets and drugs. Winner, winner, chicken dinner.

    🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

Barras are seriously awesome. There isn’t a 302 or 351, Windsor or Cleveland, that would go near one

I wasn't talking as nuts as this, but this power is easy from a Barra.

No need for the Barra, they're getting over 1,000hp from B23s, the same core as in the above tractor.

    Watch to the end.

I am getting that 2 or 3 times a day. When ever I come back after looking at something else there it goes. Just started doing that today.

Seems that the site has had some hits and Inc has turned it back on for now. Guess it’s the price we must pay.
