I can recall the Rubbish Man (that was his title) calling around to the rear of the house with his big heavy oval shaped tub which he then carried out to his Horse & Dray on his shoulder.

Coincidentally his name was Mr. Sampson.


A real olde farm type dray, Blue with Red wheels & Pete (his draught Horse) would automatically move onto the next house ready for the next Bin. Sometimes he would take the **** & you'd hear "Whoa Pete".

Pete was bit gay I think, he'd get all dressed up in his best Horse Brass Collar & horsey ornaments every day just for the Boss.


You don't see today's Garbos going to all that trouble, even Gay ones.


Today it would be Doc Martens , black T shirt & shorts & usually called Shaun or Mick..



Ah, happy days.

My kids over stuffed our bin with styrofoam. I was unaware until I saw our very helpful Garbo get out of his truck to remove some so he could empty our bin. Its a steep hill and the trucks have to stand on the brake or engage parking brakes to even pick up bins usually.
Its very easy to tell a new drive as we can see and hear them swearing as they roll back down the hill

My kids over stuffed our bin with styrofoam. I was unaware until I saw our very helpful Garbo get out of his truck to remove some so he could empty our bin.

Whereas our local **** got out, wrote a note saying "couldn't empty bin due to styrofoam", put the note *in* the top of the bin, shut the lid and drove on. I was away on holiday. When I got back, I loosened it all up and sorted it out, then promptly went away again. The ***** did the same thing the following week.

I twigged the problem was there was nothing else in the bin, so no weight behind the foam to push it out, but for the bastards to do that 2 weeks running I thought was a bit rough.

I'm not grumpy though.... much.

TGA has approved 16 and 17 year olds to get a jab. Problem? ATAGI has not so NO YOU CANNOT.


Phones in vaccine and medical centres all over the county stopped people getting a vaccine or seeing a Doctor when the idiots again gave out ITS APPROVED when it is NOT approved


Its it that blood hard for two government body’s to shhh until they have really done it? Could they just try and coordinate jointly quietly do the bloody job they do or shut the **** up?

Yes I e-mailed Greg ( a mate you see) a few weeks ago to tell him how pleased we were so far with him doing his thing etc etc etc. Just received the usual acknowledgement back, no Autograph, signed photograph or owt.
