In my suburb this morning I slowed down in the left lane to leave a gap in the traffic for other cars to pull over to let an ambulance through with flashing lights, but they were so slow that he put the siren on and went in the left-hand lane to keep his speed up. I can't believe people in my area are so dopy or uncaring, I'm choosing to think they were not residents but rather passing through.

On the subject of traffic, some traffic controllers are not the brightest, tonight they were doing work on a "T" intersection and had the tee part blocked off, so it was straight through only, but a traffic controller had parked his ute in the turning lane, so it was tripping the the right turn lights every single part of the sequence and only letting a few cars through at a time!
