Yes, and I was once advised to "crystallise" a loss, resulting in a large capital gains tax offset.

I spent a few hours yesterday evening trying to get some debris out of my mobile phone charger usb c socket as the plug wouldn't insert fully. Not sure if I dropped the phone and something went in there or if it was just a general build up of fluff from my pockets. First I tried non conductive things like ear buds, tooth picks, u-shaped flossers, then I decided to try metal items, a Stanley knife blade to no avail, so I hunted up some scalpel blades and assorted picks, but ended up using a Weller solder pick which worked, unbelievable!

Warning: Do not use above method on your belly button!
    Cheers, Billy.

Knowing my luck the glue would set too well. I had the issue while up north where the USB leads would not plug in properly. A very small safety pin worked well. The amount of compressed lint that came out was crazy. All good again after that. Cheers

This afternoon I called my GP's medical practice to get an appointment for my annual medical (because I am old!). Wait time on hold was quoted at five hours!

I agree it sticks very well. Once while installing an aerial on the D3 I dropped the aerial base into the front wing/fender, it was rather large and made of brass so the claw and magnetic tools wouldn't work. I ended up melting hot glue onto the end of some coat hanger wire and quickly sticking it to the fitting.

I'm sure this would be even worse than when I'm dipping very hot chips into the salt in my belly button.

When I ran a medical place One of the biggest issues/complaints was my phones. It amazes me still how long a phone call could take often when someone was explaining at length about how long it to get though the cue of calls

The online booking system was both fantastic and at times a GOTCHA - while negotiations about available dates and times occurred on a phone, often by the time the decision was made a online speedster had gazumpted the dithering decision make who then took a LOT longer again repeating the dates and times

Other trick some cleaver or very devious types used was to make several future bookings. I note if I want to see my dermatologist a booking about a year before the date is required.

The other BIG complaint I had often was my Automated message announcement prior to all calls It was "Please Keep Calls Short- we are very busy" My statistics report at our monthly meeting had the good, the bad and the 30 minute plus incoming call reports.

My GP clinic uses HotDoc. It is pretty good but I can still ring if I want. But lately I’ve achieved VIP status. I’ve asked them for a loyalty card, but so far they haven’t responded ?

However, they do make me a nice coffee.
