Talk about taking a slide, WOW.

Would like to see other videos on this package in action and some specks on the engine.
Will scrounge around the net and try and find some thing and post it.

Can’t get into the site right now so I’ll check it later.

The stats for the TDV8 have been posted on a few pome sites and 0 - 100 kph = 8 seconds is really going to make these a hot item in the USA so I wonder how long before we will get them.

    Cheers

Possibly - but diesels are not popular in the USA - and the standard of diesel fuel available probably does not meet the requirements for this engine. I will be surprised if it is even offered there - Landrover has never sold a diesel in the USA, and other manufacturers are dropping theirs. For example, my brother, who lives in Houston now has a petrol VW after driving diesel VWs for nearly twenty years simply because the diesel was no longer available.

Mind you, the current high oil prices may influence the situation, but as I understand it you cannot currently register a diesel car in California, and as this is the largest car market in the USA it is likely to have a big influence on Landrover's plans.

The new 8 is based on the TDV6 with 2 cylinders added on and increased to 3.6L capacity it will have over 200kW of power and will produce up to 600Nm of torque. I am with vlad i wish i was rich.

and JD i thought the TDV6 disco was being sold in the US, i might be wrong it happened once before. Matt
