If we can get past the BS for a minute, here is a useful drone application:

Police do a drive around. We can't locate them as they park off roads in a heavy and busy industrial area. So a pointless exercise.

We’ve flown ours over the nearby fire front for mapping purposes in the recent events. They have great value in multitudes of use.

I'm sure they have from what I have seen of them & uses which haven't even been
    thought of yet, Mike.

I just don't want them hovering over my gaff.

Nothing to see here so move right along.

Can you get tennis racquets with telescopic handles?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

Great idea Ian, but I'm not sure about getting 30m ones.

I'd probably drop a Serve into my next doors.
    Hmmmm that's ok then.

    Here is a big problem.

I'm staying in a high rise room at Surfers Paradise and open my big sliding doors onto my balcony in the late evening and there sitting in front of me (hovering)is a drone.

I grab my camera to photograph it and zap....he sees me and ****es off.

I know it's a he regardless of what some of you will say.

Same night I decided to take a look and see how many drones might be flying around the high rise residential buildings. There were a few.....I say residential because I didn't seem to see any flying around office blocks.

My wife now decides to keep all external windows and doors curtains closed. why ? because some low life scumbag thinks its ok to look into apartments with his drone mounted camera.

If you are staying anywhere like the gold coast in hi rise accommodation at night , I challenge you to take some time and look outside and see if you are being peeped at. You can't miss the lights on them and if your hearing is good you can hear them.

I can see using a 12g or a Bofors would cause a bit of consternation amongst the cops up there & could **** up one's vacation.

Maybe a dinger for the silent kill? That could also be fraught with hazards. What if you missed the drone & put the projectile through the next door High Rise bedroom window?

Then again you could have leapt off the balcony & put an arm lock on it?

Oh hang on, I see a flaw with my suggestion. Rewind that.
