When I started to build the bushie, I was going to put a 6.5 litre chevy diesel in it. But saw the light just in time and fitted a 4BD1-T.

Now going to pull the 4BD1-T from the bushie and put it in the rangie.

Well, I got the name Stooge from a mate of mine. The way it came about was we both loved to watch Fat Pizza, and at that stage, I always used to wear a 'bum bag', plus, im from Uruguay (wog). So the combination of wog and bum bag is what started it, and got stuck with it

I chose Utemad as at the time I had a ute and as for the mad part it sounded good at the time.

Although maybe I was mad as when I bought the Rodeo I passed up a Tdi Disco. However the wagon didn't suit my beach camping lifestyle at the time. The Disco was kitted out with air lockers, winch etc too.
