Let's just say there was a blocked long drop and the cure was a 2ltr bottle of 2 stroke and some singed eyebrows that followed. Hey presto, Cinders was born!

Hi all,
I wanted a name easy to remember with no connections or connotations at all....completely innocuous and light hearted that I could use on all fora I am on. RalphMalph was taken on most fora so Ralph1Malph was next!
Boring really.
Other suggestions by family and friends included DarthSmithius (apparently I try to use the force for evil), SmithMagic (what I used to give the ladies many years ago) and Quentin coz their are too few quentins coz not many people can pull off such a unique name.
Ralph
I co-ordinated and led a divisional attack, ultimately winning the battle in the great raid of 1982.
4 battalions pierced the perimiter at a central point and quickly spread out to divide, conquer and wreap the spoils of war, alas with heavy casualties.
In what was to be ever known as "The Battle of the BCF", I received the "Fold up Camp Chair" medal for bravery and the "Gas Lantern" for services to my Country.
After the war, we set up mobile training camps all around the country, exploring the geology, flora and fauna of the magnificant country for the good of the Empire.
I had already fallen for my commanding officer, and ultimately married the "General" who ordered the raid in the great war.

I wanted a name that was unmistakably Australian.
So Redback it was

Cheers Baz.

Ah, well.
Bought the Disco, our first land rover. Wanted to get the wife involved as I know there were things I wanted to do to the D1 so I let her name the car which she did. The D1 is black so she called it Black Betty (not original but it was her call).
I found aulro a few weeks later and was stuck for a login name, the wife suggested using Black Betty, I'd never joined a forum before so I thought the login name would be private like a bank login
So I'm not actually black, and my name is not really Betty, and when I change the Disco in a couple of years I'm going to have a real identity problem![]()
My first name was Wannalandy . Thought of the name when i wanted a land rover and was building one . Now that i have one and endless people saying you should change it to gottalandy i went with Fusion . got that name after filling the disco with Fusion stereo and speakers.
