When I first started in the adult film industry it was the norm to shave ones nether regions for both hygiene and as we all know the bow seems longer when no string is attached. I used to "mow the lawn" on a daily basis. I won't quote it on a family friendly forum but Dr Evil speech was right, there is nothing like the feeling of silk on bare skin. And the chicks dig it too.
Being a poor uni student I was living in share accommodation at the time, as in all share houses we had quite a few razors in the bathroom, it was easier to write ones name on the handle of your blade to avoid the embarrassment of shaving ones face with the toiletries used to shave my fellow room and work mates blade that he had just used on his vege. For the same reasons of hygiene one doesn't want to shave ones cheeks with the same razor you have used to mow the lawn, (plus the different hair texture blunting blades to quickly etc...) hence the body part was also written on the razor, in abbreviated form of course .
One time, the bathroom was occupied so I was prepping to shave in my bedroom. I was registering on AULRO whilst waiting for my razor to warm in a bowl of hot water. I was stuck for a user name and then spied my trusty bow blade sitting in the bowl. I read the abbreviations on it "DOB" start of my last name and "BO" the use of the blade.
I put them together and DOBBO was born.
