Just because you’re vaccinated doesn’t mean you can’t catch the virus, it just means the symptoms won’t be as bad

They had both better watch out for RED, the blue tongue lizard who lives under the house. When do you reckon we will be able to travel again, Des?

I can understand how the croc bit could put a mere Gecko off his/her flies.

OOPS, Thought you had a Killer SAS/Royal Marines trained Gecko called Des. Bob, I have many skills but one of them is not knowing how a sometimes stupid populace can react in a Pandemic as we have seen already.

Selfish I know, but I don't care when or if I wish to travel again as it seems like bloody hard yacka at the mo.

It will want it to be perfect before I press the START Button. I have made it this far ok so might not be prepared to push my luck in the future. There is a lot of SA to see but whether indoors would join me (she likes Green & Pleasant you see ) is a discussion for another day.

Eevo the same can be said for every natural mortality factor including ageing. Humans have always tried to overcome and survive better than those who walked the earth before them. It will always be the way. Whether you agree with it is a philosophical point and you are entitled to yours. Cheers

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Don't think I'd eat green pheasant, can't be good for you. Thinking about doing a mad dash to Mt Isa, to see the wife's sister. None of us are getting any younger, and the wife's brother is in the final throes of dementia, I think a week with her big sis' will do her good. A week in the Isa workers will do me no good, but I'll forget about COVID for a while. Last time we went to the Isa, we ended up at Karumba. Funny mob , up there. We talk about going to the coast, they go to Karumba, just for fun. Hang on Des, got to rescue Trev, he's trying to eat the red back in the corner again.

Think again. England's CMO, Prof. Chris Whitty, told a Downing ST press conference the Indian variant is set to become the most dominant in the UK. Scientists warn the UK death toll could rise significantly, by the fact it is able to infect more people than previous strains, and there are still 30 million unvaccinated Britons. Scientists say that after lockdown is lifted in June, there could be 20,000 hospital admissions / day. January's peak in England was 3,800/ day. Time to get back in the cupboard.

SAGE says 'realistic' Indian variant could lead to 10,000 admissions (msn.com)

JEEZUZ, Trev drinks Guiness? Wouldn't take much to put him on his arse, just the drops off your glass I reckon.

I trust he doesn't drive or he could be in deep do da. If he does, I presume it would be a Dinky Toy LR?

    Was it Trev 1 & Redback 0?

Not a fair fight, the redback had about 50 babies. Mortein was the leveller.
