Of course she is going to deny everything. If you worked at a government facility in China and screwed up, would you admit it to the world??
Only if you wanted to disappear and never be heard from again.

Well, now we have a woman dying in the UK one week after she had an AZ vaccination. To be fair, she did have underlaying health conditions, and the long flight to the UK may have caused the thrombosis, Drs say. It's not known whether the woman was an Aus. citizen or returning UK citizen. All the more reason to see your GP before vaccination.

If there were it'd be a secret & therefore I wouldn't know, besides, the media have a lot on their plate for now so I wouldn't be bothering them.
It was just a TiC observation because in the early days it seemed like it was thousands a day, especially in the UK. Well, so it was claimed. [bighmmm]
Yes I know that is the popular rhetoric but I don't subscribe to that. Shi is one of the World's leading virologists, in 2019 Shi was elected to the American Academy of Microbiology , and is highly respected around the world. She could not ' disappear ' without an outcry from around the world. However the refusal of China to allow a proper investigation of her lab will always focus attention on her, and her reputation. Her work with hybrid bat coronaviruses by mixing and matching some existing ones, in order to study how they replicate in humans, is said to have been done in a level 2 lab.,as reported, and not in the level 4 lab . This is looking like a possible leakage site by some , but until China allows scientists in to the lab, it's just supposition. It could be that if .and that's a big if, the virus escaped from the lab it would have been by mistake and nothing sinister. This could be nothing more than ego not wanting to admit a mistake. If it is a mistake ,and we don't know that , the world is paying for it big time.
More reason to get vaccinated, as if we need it.

Interesting articles, the long term effects should be a significant concern for everybody. I also agree they need to do something about people coming into the country, I watch the covid stats every day, and get a bit ****ed that we were having no community transmissions but every week so many cases were flying into Australia which is where all of the outbreaks have originated from somehow.
It does make me wonder whether wearing Pressure Stockings may have helped. Usually advised for long Flights anyway & maybe it wasn't due to AZ at all.
I had an Op at a nameless North Adelaide Hospital a few years ago (too many as it happens) I woke in Recovery with Pressure Stockings on & it was explained they were to stay on until a few days had passed & only after the Quack gave the ok to remove them. Seemed fair.
Next day a Nurse told me to take them off & she binned them. WTF! When the Sturgeon called around I queried this. Something told me it was not on.
He was aghast & ordered them to be refitted immediately. They were still in the Room Bin. I hope she got the toe of his Theatre footwear up her dinger.
Bat migration routes extend right along the Himalayas for very long distances, so there is nothing new about bats flying long distances. A bat tagged on the Sunshine Coast was found in Cairns five days later.
Coronaviruses are nothing new. It's not surprising at all that a mammal such as a pangolin could be infected and, when eaten by a human, pass on the virus. So, don't eat pangolins.
Here's something to think about. Our pet cats and dogs can also carry Covid without showing symptoms. So, instead of wild theories about lab leaks, just focus on your pet.
