That little journey cost about a Grand & you know where I live Mike & I didn't even get Blues & Twos FFS.
I reckon I could have hired a Silver Stretched Limo complete with loud Music, Girls & Champagne & Cigars with Disco lights, for less than what I was billed.

Ok, the girls would have needed to be trained in Medical Care while en route & the Bubbly & Cigars would have been the best quality.

Not really complaining I suppose, (although it may sound like it) as I am still kicking on & have used their services on three occasions for various emergency stuff. 'er indoors reckons it must be the Cigars & Bubbly.

Strange that, for I don't smoke & can't afford good Champers so I suppose I will live to be 180

    This is a TIC Post btw.[/QUOTE ]

    A GRAND
an Ambo yearly subscription, it is Cheap. in Vic, I don't know about other States, it then costs nothing then to use them, having used an used ambos a few times it is well worthwhile. imagine how much it would be if you had to go my air ambulance.

Fortunately our Medical Fund covers that as well but if they don't one day, then Direct Ambulance Cover will be the go.
My point really was about the size & spending of the organisation & where poor old Mike couldn't get one due to this silly bloody delay in ramping at hospitals. Does nobody give any thought that the people who pay their salaries are butt ****ed while they play their power games with the SA Govt.

Or do I need to book a stretched Limo?

The numbers in NSW get worse and worse every day BUT to be quite fair it isn't ALL Aunty Glad's fault with hundreds of people getting busted each day simply failing to isolate and hundreds more for mask and travel violations.
The numbers of people (dick heads all) getting caught is only the tip of the iceburg as most would get away undetected doing what these selfish/moronic people are doing.

Why is it that people seem to think that the COV19 restrictions/rules don't apply to them and don't give me that "We no speaka da english" BS excuse because after this amount of time that just doesn't wash anymore.
I would hazard to guess that the majority of these rule breakers have english as their First language or have a good understanding of it anyway.

Aunty Glad has Finally upped her COV19 game at last But it needs EVERYONE to "Step Up" and play the game by the rules to start making headway in this War against this virus Before it destroys EVERY Australians way of life (Not just NSW people).

It is just a small minority of selfish/stupid people that are causing so much pain to millions of other people that have and continue to do the right thing that need to pull their heads in.

I sort of felt it was the Limo driver or the rulz allowing him masked or not to be not vaccinated myself that restarted it. It was going to restart at some time anyway so Such is life

On that anyone think WA is going to be grumpy. a Plane load from a red zone plus to Perth then to "Yongah Hill detention centre at Northam, which is just under 100km north-east of Perth."

The Villawood Immigration Detention Centre is in the Canterbury–Bankstown local government area (LGA), which has one of the highest current rates of confirmed cases of COVID-19 for any LGA in Australia.

Not a worry at all they "stopped in Melbourne to pick up another detainee."

Safer for the prisoners I suppose.

Will be popcorn material watching McGowan's reaction if nothing else
Edit, reading g the story he didn't react with his usual enthusiasm. I'd imagine that Border force are probably running out of staff to man Villawood with everyone being in isolation.

I'm tested and isolating. Someone who was at work all day Friday, no symptoms, got a text that night. "Get tested you're a close contact." He tested positive. The site is shut down and we're all getting tested. Happily, I'm all pfizered up.
    Cheers, Billy.

5,700 vehicles intercepted at the border, 513 turned back. [ Yesterday 7,700 and 1090]

Deputy Police Commissioner Gollschewski -" We are hearing lots of sad stories around how this impacts on people, I'm terribly sorry about that, we are going to continue to do that, you must meet the requirements to enter the State or you are simply not entering." Only Police, health workers , and construction workers who have had one dose of vaccine are allowed to enter QLD. Chief Health Officer Young said there would be a widespread review later this week of which workers that live in NSW are really essential to QLD.
