Not sure if this is the post to put this .
The way I see , all these back Packers & students who wont self isolate should be fined & then sent back home . I was reading the other day the Gov wants to also give them a hand out. I get a self funded pension nothing from the Gov & now as my Super funds go down due to the stock market being so bad I still get nothing .
Just send them home from were they come from.
    That's my two bobs worth

I hear you. It's a worrying time for superannuation. But all advice says just hang in there, things will turn around. I know that's hard, I've seen mine drop , but lately it came back up. It will remain volatile for some time, hang in there. As for the back packers, just where do they self isolate to ? The hostels? they live cheek to jowl there already. The government has said it needs them as the workforce to harvest our fruit & veg. as the locals don't seem to want the job. I know a lot has been made by a TV company about backpackers playing pool on a roof top, but correct me if I'm wrong, [ I wont mind] that building is a hostel. 4 playing pool on the roof is probably better than 15 or 20 stuck in a dormitory. It's a difficult one that hopefully smart people are finding a solution for.

Laughed reading the "How to spot a bot" section.

    Some of the points there...

    • they have no last names, and have alphanumeric handles (such as Sara89629382)

    • they mostly follow news sites, government authorities, or human users who are highly influential in a certain subject (in this case, virology and medicine).

When to use a telehealth consult, and when to see your doctor.

What can you use a telehealth consult for and when should you physically visit your GP?

    1. Brett Montgomery Brett Montgomery is a Friend of The Conversation.
Senior Lecturer in General Practice, University of Western Australia

    Disclosure statement

Brett Montgomery works as a general practitioner, mostly academically but also clinically. In his clinical role he and his patients will benefit from the availability of teleheath funding of consultations (though much of this funding will simply offset the similar funding of what would otherwise have been face-to-face consultations). He is affiliated with several organisations with health policy interests, including the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, the Doctors Reform Society and the Australian Greens. However, he writes this article in a personal capacity.

I know you're not a bot Bob, bots don't argue back. However, the bucket of irony was too heavy to not try to lift it around a bit...

Driving through areas such as the Ord River irrigation area, Blind Freddie could see that the 'Locals' don't want to work.

When I was up there, there where signs at nearly every orchard gate requesting pickers whilst the public parks where full of 'Unemployed'!

The ability to maintain a sense of humour in a time of crisis is priceless, I appreciate the irony.
