I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Adrenaline, duty and fear. Inside a New York Hospital taking on the coronavirus. Not for the faint hearted. Any one contemplating not isolating should read this.

The battle, however, is only beginning. Adrenaline, duty, and fear have motivated an impassioned response, but some of us wonder how sustainable it is. Nights in lonely hotel rooms, away from family; weeks of long hours and heightened risk. I go to work, alone, before the sun rises. I come home, alone, after it sets. I eat leftovers in my too-small apartment before answering another page or two and falling asleep. A surge is, by definition, time-limited. What happens when doctors can’t see the end?

Maybe for the sake of accuracy the jurno should have stated that the rate of infection is on the decline But IS it? Has Everyone been tested?

As explained in the video, the number of new cases has dropped. However locally transmitted cases with an unknown source has risen. The focus now is finding how this hot spot started. Best watching the video to let the experts explain.

We had a lovely surprise yesterday.
About 11.00am there was a knock on our front door,..with isolation etc We wondered who it could be,...It was our very special daughter who lives around 30ks away who had bought a basket of goodies for us, some bread, bread rolls, a couple of dips, a couple of bottles of wine incl a bottle of our favorite Sav Blanc, Cloudy Bay, and some other goodies.
We didn't get close, her car was parked in the street, with the grandchildren in it, so we all said hello & had a chat from about 15-20' away,...what a lovely surprise. She always rings us up every day, but to see her in person was pretty good.
We drank the Cloudy Bay last night!
    Pickles.
