Some more good news this morning. This just in (but please stay off the drench for the moment!):
“04 Apr 2020 5:32 AM AEST - POSSIBLE CORONAVIRUS DRUG IDENTIFIED BY MONASH UNIVERSITY SCIENTISTS
Monash University-led study has shown that an anti-parasitic drug already available around the world can kill the virus within 48 hours.
Scientists showed that a single dose of the drug, Ivermectin, could stop the SARS-CoV-2 virus growing in cell culture.

It was a long post that I snipped but the drug Ivermectin is an FDA-approved anti-parasitic drug that has also been shown to be effective in vitro against a broad range of viruses including HIV, Dengue, Influenza and Zika virus.

Some for the livestock, some for the farmer and friends!

i read the other day we've tested 1% of the population

so would be 250,000 kits

unless people are being tested twice

They definitely will be tested more than once if they have it.

It was interesting to hear a commentator on TV today make the point which has probably pondered by many of us.


Ok, you get tested today but tomorrow you can be Positive.. Huh? So why do we feel we need testing? I don't.

What is the point, & from what I have read there only 3 reasons to be tested? Not every one needs testing only if you come under these conditions. 1. Overseas Traveler. 2. Been in contact with a tested Positive person & I forget the 3rd one but it was much the same as those.

Medical staff that are making the decisions on who gets tested, but those are probably some of the criteria for testing. I'm sure there are are signs and symptoms that trigger the test also. I doubt they are testing asymptomatic people are they?

I saw that reported this morning, they need to work out a safe dose for humans apparently. Then line us up for drenching.[bigrolf]

Just found out wife's cousin in the UK and his wife are both positive, both in their 60's, isolated at home, not very well but not hospital cases apparently. Fingers crossed for full recovery for both.

In the end everyone will know someone.
