I have started a thread in Current Affairs to discuss this, and given a possible solution, since it would be hard to discuss this without being accused of being political, so why don't you go there and say what you think?

The official forecast is that it’s a couple of decades to clear the Trillion+ dollar debt.

People just need to return to a sensible life.
Less debt, more saving. Less have it now.

Early talk was something like a larger scale/workdwide Marshall Plan that was used to rebuild Europe after the Second World War

The figures I've seen are in the $200-300 billion range, but who knows?

Has there been any suggestion of the people in NSW Dept. of Health responsible for the sheer disaster of releasing thousands of possibly infected or infectious cruise ship passengers to travel all over the world being brought to account? That Minister! My God, what can one say. He says he is not to blame nor is the department that failed under his leadership. "No, no, no. Not me. I didn't do it nor did my department" What a self-serving *****. Show him to an empty office. Hand him a pistol with a single bullet. "Do the right thing, old chap."
