Just glad we lock down with low discovered numbers instead of waiting for the numbers to get higher. Just a case now of waiting to see how wide spread it is in Auckland and quite possibly, around the country. If it was found in a small no-name town it would worry a lot of people a lot less. Auckland though? Damn! Nation-wide hub central and a bus-stop/train station/airport and pub for the virus out to the rest of the country. If I was a betting man I would put money on source being a worker at the airport border.

I reckon it would be technically possible for it to have been imported on an object imported via air freight from an overseas country. Small chance admittedly but probably more likely than having the virus asymtomatically circulating for 100 days withouit seeing another case. Either that or an escape from a quarantine hotel but given the profile of that happening its reasonably unlikely.Quote:
