RE sense of humour. I see humour where other people don't appear to if I may be so bold, even at Funerals etc. It is not disrespect, just observing people & listening to their speech & watching their actions.
The Playwright Irwin Shaw made a practice of that especially in Post War Paris for wonderful book called "PARIS, PARIS".
