Yes, but they're telling people to not go to Tokyo because of the outbreak there.

    Um......

I think I was told to stop spouting drivel, accused of being deluded and desperately manufacturing scenarios to suit my own agenda and then told that I was irrelevant in another thread. That sounds a bit like a bagging to me.

Coronavirus Australia live news: New Zealand Deputy PM claims cases may be linked to quarantine breach, citing unofficial source - ABC News

    From his interview:

"In Melbourne's case, of course, it was - how shall I say it without being too critical? - pretty slack oversight and supervision, where it was put in the hands of private industry, which was a disaster. In our case, we got the army in early enough to know that that wouldn't have been the problem. But there's been a breach, and we'll find out in a matter of hours, or within a day."

Right ... I'd hate to see what him being critical would look like.

It's interesting - I've had a tangential involvement in diplomatic circles and that's the sort of criticism of other countries that people do try to avoid, so it's odd to hear it coming from a deputy PM [Edit: who's also the NZ Foreign Minister]. It's also more than a little gloating, which is .... odd .... given that the reason for the interview is that his purportedly superior arrangements have apparently also failed.

Nothing like a touch of confusion. I understand what I am on about. No need to turn up your thermostat just for my benefit Bob. I'm me, & shall ever remain so.

How would you phrase it? Bearing in mind it appears to be the truth & many have died how would you put it in fancy words & why should you/ he? Maybe a bit of harsh criticism might wake a few in charge souls up. ie. give them a jolt.
I reckon the much vaunted, now crap of.... "Those are in our thoughts & Prayers" stuff is wearing a bit thin & sounding shallow & mass produced rubbish.

Actually, it was the night manager at Rydge's Hotel, and another staff has also tested positive.
