I don't know how their technique compares with other places, but I have come across quite a few articles reporting very low rates of false positives. A lot of the unsubstantiated claims about high rates of false positives appear to be on sites that quite obviously have an agenda.

EDIT:- Noticed it's a CHINESE website, possibly why Avast got nervous. LD32 is the model number. Not listed on the Australian Fenix site. If NSW can carry out 17,000 tests yesterday with no positives (false or otherwise), it is impossible to see how the PCR test can be seen as giving false positives except in very rare cases.

Speaking of Australian made...and off-topic. Went to an iconic Replacement Engine Parts COmpany today, and among the bargains was a a plastic bucket, "Proudly made in AUSTRALIA" for $2. - Bought it on principle ! - Fed up with 99cent rubbish-quality buckets from a big green hardware store

Btw, for the record (which you didn't author) we don't begrudge the shut down nor believe the SA Govt or SAPOL should apologise as some claim they should. They acted in the interests of SA Citizens with the information they had at hand not knowing the 36 year old bloke was a freakin' liar. I think I would prefer an Over-reaction rather than none at all.
If if they had not acted as they did the alternative would be moaned about & questions asked & horsepiddles filled.

Well green does make more sense one has to admit, lemon juice getting on your togs can be bastard as it could fade the patch.

Imagine walking down the street with "Ban the Bomb" or "Mi6 Sux" highlighted in lemon Juice on your lapels of your Hired Suit.[bigrolf]

Well only until I was about 8 years old, until then I was small enough fall in all the time & who needs a stinking 8 year old kid hanging around. After this age my 'rents got a proper fairly solid rolled 10 Gallon job & that was much much better. I think the old man picked it up off one of the wharves at Port Adelaide.



Never looked back after that, & recently I went to Bunnings & got a proper plastic Seat & Lid Self Closing Combo. UTTER BLISS.:toilet:

Never knew they existed & we used to fold the tin flap back & forth all the time (until it broke off) & really thought this was what every Modern Home had. We did feel posh.[bigrolf]
