Heres a link to an article that explains it a bit more Tracking COVID-19 with wastewater | Nature Biotechnology It would seem that the testing is very sensitive and that the virus detected is inactivated by the digestive system before being excreted.

Sewers also a good way of finding drug residue downstream of a user's house. Just move upstream and keep testing to follow to the source.

Is the AstraZeneca Covid vaccine based on shaky science? I have to admit, statements made by the outgoing administration [Anthony Fauci] need to be carefully considered, considering the vaccines selected will make a truckload of money for the companies concerned.

One thing with Fauci is that he isn't a political appointee, he's served through multiple GOP and Dem administrations.

Some positive news, Australia's recovery is sustainable, according to Moody's. Triple A with a stable outlook. Gotta like that.

And the current infrastructure deficit spending is something Australia should have looked at during the GFC rather than the BS solution used which crippled our Stock market for the last 12 years.

I'm not so sure about that, I've seen a 25% increase in stockmarket value in the past 7 months - not what I'd call "crippled".

Just return to Brisbane by plane for the first time today....

WOW what a difference in border control when compared to crossing the border by car......very formal and nobody gets waved through.

Oh and I didn’t realise it now takes up to three days for permits to be issued. It used to be immediate.

Thought I was in for some pain when I got to the front of the line without a valid permit. Thankfully it was relatively pain free.
