I think the point is that everyone asks themselves these questions in which case it’s a Yes to all of them.

Anyway, a thought crossed my mind this afternoon. From the information provided I would be in group 2a if I choose to be vaccinated. My question is if I do get vaccinated with the Phizer vaccine and some 4-6 weeks later (or whatever the time frame is) I come for my second shot and they say.... "we don't have anymore Phizer vaccine".... what then?? They say they have X number of doses, does that take into account wastage and spoilage?

If this scenario were to happen, do I have a compromised immune system? If I do, does that make me more susceptable to the virus? Does it make me more susceptible to other viruses? If I was compromised would I be required to isolate for my own protection? Do I have to wait a unspecified period then start the other vaccine regime? If I have to wait for more Phizer vaccine what is the maximum period between shots? Will that compromise my C-19 vaccination?

    So many questions.

A study by Public Health England finds that the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine is 72% effective at preventing ALL coronavirus infection (including asymptomatic) 21 days after first dose, and 86% effective 7 days after second dose.

I am now in the poo. Email just arrived "
You have been assessed as eligible for the COVID Vaccination GP roll out for Phase 1b
    "

I wonder if the doctors and staff will shoot me

The late night session covering items way over my head such as Should vegans get the COVID-19 vaccine?, 10,000 pregnant women did get vaccines as they asked for them and another 10,000 got vaccines and then later found they are pregnant. ( no issues reported) If your immunocompromised yes you should apparently still get a jab is all happily Doctors and Nurses stuff to deal with. My bank balance is about to go south as I gear up and add staff for this

The late night session last night had mention of the number of vaccines we have ordered being enough to vaccinate each of us four times! Noting a stuff up in QLD where two people actually got that amount

Covid: WHO scheme Covax delivers first vaccines

is a great idea. Our Australian spare will be going to COVAX. Argument is should we have ordered more than we need in the first place is a reasonable question.

I really do believe we need an "In the Poo" section.

I am now in the poo.
I believe it would be oversubscribed within minutes.

Shirley not your personal bank Balance J1?

Should we start a "Just Giving " page for you?

I just saw a headline saying that Sweden is imposing restrictions to avoid a third wave.

I know that their constitution doesn't (or didn't) allow some of the restrictions imposed in other countries, but it seems to me that it took Sweden a long time to realise what has to be done to protect Swedish citizens.

They currently have 12,793 deaths. The same death rate in Australia would add up to something like 30,000 deaths.

I think it is time to accept that their approach was wrong.

They have obviously reached the stage of "Needs Must" & bugger their constitution, which will only kill a lot more people.

Yep time to give it the big Heave Ho Sweden.

NZ back into a seven day lock down from 0600 tomorrow. Auckland Level 3, the rest of us to Level 2.

Damn! Some people are too stupid for words to sufficiently describe their actions.

I would hope that any actions described wouldn't have anything to do with reproduction!

Talked to my sister-in-law a few minutes ago. She has a problem. Seeing she is 83, she is eligible for the vaccine shortly. But she needs to have photo ID. Now she lives alone, albeit in a small, rural, retirement village. She does not have a drivers licence, and her passport has expired. Getting photo ID is a major exercise, because she is blind, and relies on others for transport, and it is difficult for her to assemble the documentation needed to get photo ID. Getting this will be a much bigger problem than getting the vaccination.
