This is really beyond a joke now. I work in the building next to the P'Nut cafe in South Brisbane where these two ****.visited for lunch on Monday 27th July. Because one of my staff purchased their lunch at this cafe on Monday at the same time these two **** visited the cafe, my entire office had to be tested.

The test was not fun. I want those 3 hours of my life back after lining up and having a stick shoved up my nose.

The anger I am feeling right now towards those two selfish idiots is beyond belief.

Now I see on the news the stupid brother of one of them is claiming that this is all race related. We had better not cross paths.

I'd love know who's financing these jokers - they work 3 days a week as school cleaners, yet who pays for their woeful plastic surgery and travel expenses?

    Sorry for the rant.

The ABC can reveal that Border Force command only realized the mistake more than 30 hours after passengers — including 13 who had been isolated in their cabins with fever — had left the ship.

The new revelations challenge Border Force Commissioner Michael Outram's assertion in March that NSW Health was responsible for allowing passengers to disembark.
Indeed, the Federal Government has conceded in correspondence to the NSW Special Commission of Inquiry into the Ruby Princess that "practical" permission had been given for passengers to disembark, even if it had not been formally granted.

Bloody amazing! The Commissioner, in his TV interview I saw at that time was so damn sure it wasn't his 'chaps' that ****ed up. I mean, really really positive type of sure.

You can't even trust plastic coppers these days.

Oh well, they may not get to Synney but at least they appear to get a side trip to Limbo.

But they are now in limbo.
Where the **** is Limbo when it is at home? Is that where the Sticks come from?

    That’s understandable.

I’m fairly “irritated” by their stupidity too.

I get where you're coming from I really do, it IS people not doing the right thing as you've said - no question about it, but ranting and raving about it from the other side of the country to those who are here isn't helping - there's a huge range of reasons people do what the do and motivations for breaking the law here - a lot of it to do with money - you can't switch that thought or feeling off in people, it doesn't work like that.
The first part of your post is derogatory and does not deserve a response .

Secondly i was replying to V8Ian post , if you want to take it as a general attack on you and the people of Vic then so be it . By the way i have family in Vic and i am as worried for them as you are for yours . I did not make the rules your premier did !! and if people are put into a bad situation then there are avenues available to get help .

And as mentioned above, some employers are making people take annual leave instead of sick leave when they've been sick with the virus.
Sometimes it'll just be a payroll error, but employers and employees are both human and some will take advantage of a situation without thought or care for anyone else.
I fully understand the emotional situation and the frightening aspect of losing your employment due to shonk Employers attitudes and greed , there have been times in my life that have been less than desirable .
I feel that if we dont do the hard yards and support each other then we are not going to win with this thing .

I can sympathies with all the the issues raised about feeding family's etc , but the BIG issue is to stop the spread or flatten the curve .

The reason for the community spread of the virus is people not complying with the rules . Eos .
A lot of these poor buggers are stuck between a rock and a hard place. Decisions made under this sort of pressure tend to not be the best. The greater the pressure, the more short term a solution is considered.
Many of the people, forced into this situation, will have come from a culture where social security and charity are nonexistent, so would not be a consideration in the decision making process. Cultural expectations should be considered by us more fortunate.
I'm not agreeing with, nor trying to excuse these peoples' decisions, just understand them.

Feeling hopeless is bad, I do know people help a lot more than many feeling hopeless know. (Or when smashed to bits close to death on a road) Going to try a few metres of jogging this afternoon - life is good.

Food, support and even housing support is almost always available. Not pretending it is easy. A homeless mum and her disabled son used our car park at a local shopping centre for a month. You might be surprised at how many people noticed and bought then food or tried to help.

Happily homeless cases here are being moved to better options during COVID19. I put a Darwin Award you might like in Current affairs. Not certain some of it makes the rules for general chat Two are crackers

Have a great weekend. Excuse the yahoo Yelling in Melb if I do get ten paces.
