Looks like some of the guests in Hotel Quarantine after arriving/returning to WA are not happy about paying for their own Quarantine by kicking doors and abusing staff , going to make for an enjoyable 14 days not .

This would have been explained to the people that are in isolation and the ONLY valid reason for not answering the door is that they are not there.
IF they are on the dunny or in the shower they could yell out and let the people doing the checking know that they are home that they will have to wait a few min for them to answer the door.
Why are people making up endless **** poor excuses for some peoples **** poor behavior is beyond my comprehension ???

It is NOT as if this home isolation is a brand new concept this has been going on for months now which makes the "I didn't know" excuse pure BS So what part of stay the **** at home while in isolation don't people understand??
Are you in isolation in Victoria? I don't think so. How do you know all the ins and outs of Victorian isolation, or are you making it up as you go?

I CAN read So instead of abusing me how about having a crack at the people that are putting lives at risk by not complying instead.
Also going on your line of thought as you are in QLD how do you know that I am wrong??

No abuse, a simple question. Can you answer it?

Nothing in there about knocking on doors or it being compulsory to answer.
It does list legitimate reasons to leave the house, whilst in quarantine.
So where did you read that it was compulsory to answer the door?

Think the restrictions in Victoria are authorised under the Victorian State of Emergency declared until August 16, not federal legislation. State governments, not the federal government, have constitutional power over public health.

Department of Health and Human Services Victoria | Victoria's restriction levels

I saw that a small number of addresses may have been wrong and are being checked, but that doesn't explain most cases.

Victoria has offered payments to help people without sick leave cope with having to stay home.

Staff ceilings were removed from the federal Act covering private aged care homes in 1997, allowing operators to replace full-timers with casuals to increase profits for operators.

Our daughter's workplace staff had to be tested because one of their children goes to the school where one of the girls worked, thankfully all negative.

I see Woolworths now wants its customers to wear masks. Will Coles and Aldi follow?
