As I said a couple of weeks ago, the daily increase in new cases in the first two US waves was linear after a short time. This time it's exponential and heading for some huge numbers.

132,000 on their Friday............. the graph down the page 'daily new cases'.

Ye-ha....from midnight tonight Victoria becomes a united state again. The “ring of steel” is coming down.

It has served us well - but now Victorians can have freedom of movement in their own state again.

9 consecutive double donut days, active cases is down to just 4, and just 2 still in hospital. 14 day average is 0.4 so down to the same level as the NT. Incredible turn around but it came with a high price.

Now where should I go for a drive......

Victoria hasn’t made any claims over NSW.....yet.....yes we are still mostly stuck in our own little state of Mexico.

Getting too hot to go north now.....but the Great Ocean Road is looking good this time of year.

In my case, to see my 90 year old parents for the first time in months.
