Not sure that's a good thing. I'll ask around. He hasn't been very well.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

The Queensland government is shutting down a quarantine hotel after genomic testing discovered six people staying on the same floor have contracted the highly contagious British strain of coronavirus.
Premier Annastacia Palaszcuk said all six cases in the COVID-19 cluster, who are in isolation, had been on the seventh floor of Brisbane’s Grand Chancellor Hotel at different times during quarantine.

I suspect from your end that you will be in the 1b designation rollout, and in that rollout I suspect there is a good chance you will be able to access the Pfizer version. I'm in a similar boat and will also try to get the pfizer vaccination. This vaccination is far harder to store and about 10x the cost of the Astrazeneca vaccination. Pfizer has an 95% effectiveness, which I suspect the government is using to prevent people from being affected by covid, where the Astrazeneca has about a 70% effectiveness which I suspect the government is targeting a herd immunity (actually this is from the WHO), because its cheaper. I saw an article suggesting 50% effectiveness is required for this, but I don't know what the % of population is required at 50%.

This is how I see it anyway, but I'm with you, I would much rather pay the $20/shot out of my pocket to get the Pfizer vaccination than have the $2.50 Astrazeneca. But I can also see it from the Govts perspective when they've bought 63.8 million doses.
    Cheers

The results of testing at 50%+ or much higher are being re tested to confirm the much higher result. The vaccines must be proven not speculated. The results to be confirmed by peer reviewed report will be with us before the major roll out in March. No stress with the time frame. The initial mid feb start date with the high cost and very low temp storage and transport requirements is ok. Noted my vaccine fridge hit a high which is about our home fridge temp often or especially if the kids are inspecting for browsing purposes My vax fridge was being emptied of all the travel vaccinations we did not give last year which expire in two weeks. The Good. I have a lot of space for March Covid Vaccines assuming the C.S.L. manufactured one is green lighted by peer review/The Bad $$$$ in the bin for me- boo hoo.

Just as well we anticipated delays in the system to be sure, to be sure.

It is good you have found room in the fridge for your favourite After Hours Friday Night Tipple assuming of course the GPs don't get in first with theirs.
