Aaaahhh, good to hear that you're still OK Bob & haven't been struck down with any nasties.
BTW, I haven't sipped a latte for years, more a billy tea from a blackened billy straight off the campfire type of man.

And, no doubt, a hide like a rhinocerous. I'm OK, went for my walk today, about 5 kms, with a hydration stop at the Full Moon pub. Same old crowd I swear they haven't shifted since this time last year. Got a discount, and a free Vietnamese sticky tart at the 7 day viet. bakery in town . [ Sandgate, as opposed to the city , Brisbane] The young bloke saw my Tonkin Gulf Yacht Club badge on my cap. The one with the South Vietnam flag on it. Ever since I twigged, I've been getting special treatment [ free sauce , the newest pies as opposed to the old ones, that type of thing] Old Muma-sun always gives me a gap toothed smile. [ Thinks- must tell 4bee. I think he's her type.] Half way home I picked up a Visa NAB card on the road, turned around and took it to the NAB in Sandgate. I would hate to lose my card on a friday. Bought a lotto ticket, hoping what goes around , comes around. Getting desperate , in other words.

I mailed you some garlic prawns, with the way Post is nowadays, you will smell them before you see them. Probably went via NZ.

... We had a power outage today... Very high winds -even for this area notable for high winds - waved the wires around... Took 7 hours for Western Power to come out, and put up a couple of broomstick spacers to stop that happening again. (Maybe replaced the local tranny... no doubt made in a Heavenly Kingdom, divided by an old wall............

Not that I'm addicted mind you, but suddenly had the urge to check bank balances, transfer funds, pay bills online - order more stuff on evilbay - and catch up with the world outside. And go surfing in all sorts of places, like Blighty, and guess where I ended up ?

You don't know where I can get a cap with a china badge on it, before I visit the local Chinese takeaway?
