Kev from Qld, there to help, can't help himself. Loves the limelight. But he did contact the Pfizer boss , as a concerned citizen , and did send a letter to the PM explaining his actions. Just before it was announced that the date for the Pfizer delivery was being bought forward. Good timing or just luck. [not that extra Pfizer would be delivered , as reported from Canberra .] More to it but not here.

Excellent summary of how we got here: all the bluster from ‘it’s not a race to it’s a sprint’, from being at the front of the queue to the back of the Pfizer queue only a few months later…

Kinda like turning up for the Olympic marathon and expecting to win without doing the training! and not realising that for the majority of mortals a winning marathon pace is a sprint!

Given that case was delivered by an "essential worker" how far do we go with shutting down essential workers. The removalist case is another example, do we stop all cross border transport given the increased transmissability of the delta strain?

Food for thought for those who see shutting borders as the cure for all ills.

Just home from a restocking trip to Dubbo. Quickest return ever I think. I only went to Service NSW and Aldi. I am only too aware that what happened at Goulburn could easily happen in Dubbo. Just as an example, nearly all the medical specialists are FIFO from Sydney!
