    Must say NSW Health via RPAH, did a great job on the front line workers. My first shot was pretty quick with about 10 mins worth of Queueing. Second shot time was determined by how fast I could walk.
    Cheers, Billy.

    TV news showing the M1 blocked on the Qld side of the border and traffic diverted to checkpoints on the Gold Coast Highway. I'm not there so I can only guess, but it sounds like Qld has completely locked out NSW.

    Border zone has disappeared from the hotspots map.

    They had Sars back in the day and it led to their great response to Covid last year.

    55 million people jammed into a tiny country, 50 mill in the Seoul area alone.

    Key lessons are that:

    (a) Delta moves too fast to track and trace through contact tracers - you have to lockdown, stop people moving around and then identify the infected;

    (b) you have to go to a complete lockdown - partial ones don't work;

    (c) you can't lock down individual suburbs - it didn't work in Melbourne, it's not working in Sydney;

    (d) if there's no compliance / buy-in by most people you won't be able to control it - compliance in Sydney last week was estimated to be 40%;

    (e) following on from (d), your messaging has to be clear. Doesn't matter if it's harsh so long as it's clear.
