The virus is really starting to escalate , once the genie is out of the bottle, it can not be put back in. So, Qld has declared the whole of NSW a hot spot, the border is shut for a month. Looks like NSW will be shut down at least until the end of September, qld will review progress in one month.

There are actually 0 cases in Coffs, (couldn't take a screen shot of the NSW Health page) but a Sydney based construction worker was there and so many are now in isolation, as are 70 odd working in Lismore from this morning. Corona Virus

Participation in sport - big assumption there old boy!

Hockey, Golf, Powerlifting and Skirmish sports have been a part of my life for several years.
Prior to that I played Rugby, was pretty big back on the day when I served… was good at it too!

Can’t do any of it in lock down… and if local sport cannot, then neither should the leagues.

One thing to do it, very different just arm-chairing it.

If Ctrl-C, Ctrl-V was an Olympic sport you’d win Gold Corona Virus

Your “if it suits me” rhetoric is amusing.

And we begrudge no State locking their borders to keep covid out.

All your posts are designed to stir the pot Bob.
It’s evidenced in almost every post.

    Thinly veiled.

Those with a genuine interest in what’s going on aren’t reading your posts - they’re looking at the stuff directly - you know, on the net, where you get all your stuff from.

Stress is a huge problem for many. Heather- Roverlords comment about medical staff who are being abused resinging on mass was reinforced by a Doctor this morning who was clearly very very distressed by a person repeatedly demanding to be seen by her despite the issue not being urgent and the person being at a Tier One and Tier two site and required to stay home for 14 days. Apparently calling hourly to demand what she had been clearly told cannot happen.

The psychologist or psychiatrist on the radio chatting about that felt the person doing the demanding was probably showing a clear stress/anxiety disorder and probably needed a referral to help with that issue more than the help they where demanding from the stressed specialist.

My selfish return to running is my mental health tonic I am soooooo lucky to be doing again now. Dropping a line in the ocean or a river, watching the waves, walking, Marathons ( sorry I have an obsession ) are all meditation

Pick yours and do it your way. Reading is cool. Note reading bad news all the time gives us a outlook which might be better helped by keeping another enjoyable reading book at hand.

Exactly! Trawling the web for all the bad outcomes of say Covid, does not help.

Condensing all of that into posts on a forum that is an escape for many - our LRs doesn’t help.

Best to let people go elsewhere to seek the Covid news (and other topics like politics, wars etc).

Well, I'm thinking this virus is driving some people mad , and it seems some don't have far to drive, I guess it's your call.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Here we go again. Tell me who died and made you king of the forum? FYI, sport of every type , from children to adults is underway here in Qld. Has been for some time. And we want to keep it that way. And BTW, you have no idea of my sporting history. Nor do I wish to discuss it with you. You are now on my ignore list. Rant away.
