Which is true. The majority of people primarily wear a mask to prevent them catching the virus. The majority of us don’t have the virus.

…Nowhere did I say masks weren’t also for preventing spread of the virus. That’s obvious. Nor did I say droplet spread was misinformation. On the contrary I said “you breath out of your nose too”.

As I’ve said now on three occasions, masks prevent virus transmission in both ways. This is clearly backed up by the attachment in my previous post, which you seem to have ignored, even though you asked for it!

Now can you guys just wear your masks over your nose too? I don’t want you to catch the virus. …or give it to me.
I give up - believe what you want to, that masks stop Covid entering the body more than it stops it spreading from people, that the earth is flat, whatever dude. Masks are worn primarily to prevent droplets entering the air that may have Covid in them. That's what the links and all the experts agree is what they are for so I'll take their word over yours. Conversation closed as far as I'm concerned. You can lead a horse to water so they say...

Good news - we are free as well from midnight. As long as those in Sydney can learn to stay at home for a while there is some hope for us all but I don't expect that based on the last few weeks and current numbers - they don't seem to understand the concept too well yet unfortunately. Not all their fault - Klinger hasn't been the best teacher to them.

    Well done too!

There are so many take always from our cases, that lockdown can work and it can be relatively quick, but it needs to be done early and people actually need to lock down rather than making excuses. If people don’t genuinely work in the spirit of preventing COVID, then it wont go away, especially Delta.

Let’s hope this release is long termed as anything could happen at any time.
    Cheers

And even better I just got home from my first jab just now. Took 2 months to get there due to one thing or another but now booked in for my second on the 26/8. Vax hub I went to was like a well oiled machine but only running at 2/3 capacity due to lack of Pfizer still although the Nurse I spoke to said it was starting to ramp up in the last couple of weeks.

Hardly call it non-essential when she's just secured a huge deal for her state. PM's trips are 5% biz and 95% holiday.

giddyup! ...whichever way you want to look at it, two-way prevention is better than cure.

There are hardly any masks in use that are designed and made to keep the virus out.
