    They're also hiring student paramedics.

Some employers are hiring, so that's good.

Actually, it's not just France, it's everywhere in the world except the UK.

But but but, the checkout chicks might though. Possibly.

Telstra and Optus are quickly on-shoring their call centres because of lockdowns in India and the Philippines, creating 1,500 jobs.

Well bugger me! That has got to be a good thing outa this mess. Sanity reigns so let us all hope it will be permanent.

Sorry, I'm not bothered about the overseas jobs going but glad for those in Australia.

It might just be the excuse they need to get shot of these ill-conceived arrangements.

I doubt they felt any sympathy for Aussies when they took over these services.

Yes lets hope these jobs are kept in Australia permanently.
Another good thing happening is the major expansion of telehealth with doctors able to bulk-bill online consultations. That is a great advance and I hope it is also permanent.

Those apostrophes where they are just to get a rise out of Ron?

Very droll Homestar, a rise from a naked 70year old in a supermarket may replace a political cartoon

    Of course not, as if?

I couldn't decide where to place them (??) so there seemed a safe drop point. In retrospect I could have used 'has'.

I guess Ron doesn't need my help to get a rise, being nude in a Supermarket, unless he is down by the Freezer Section where that might prove a tad difficult.

Nope, he is on his own with that one.

Just for your information for next time - "A man's got to do" is a contraction of "A man has got to do" so by dropping the 'ha' in has - you use an apostrophe there.

The things we do when we are bored sitting at home huh.

Thanks Teach. All this because of our concerns for the temperature of Ron's Jewels.

Even your explanation is still a bit of a puzzle to me but I promise that I will try to do better, so no need to send a Report Card home to my Parents.. The mysteries of the English Language eh?
