I got some medical sanitiser from the chemist at huge cost.

They were insistent that the pump bottle needed to be returned,as they come from China and can't get anymore.

I saw some hand wash in Coles.Great i thought.Sure enough it contained no soap, and no alcohol. So like everyone else,i left it there.

I was unable to find any in the supermarkets I checked in Dubbo on Tuesday - but I'm pretty certain that if I had shopped round I would find some, but I did not relish the added exposure this would mean, and did not really need any for a while.

I dunno why in Dubbo, theres hundreds of bars of soap on the shelf in my local coles.

for some ongoing reason though , pasta and dunny roll still hard to come by.

Which is fine when you have water and a tap available.
Also, I don't think water and soap go to well with my work tablet, phone, tools, etc

Hand sanitiser is convenient when I'm in and out of my work ute all day long

I've been observing people in the fruit and veg section of my local super market. It's interesting to note how many pick up fresh produce, handle it and then put it back. YUK!!

Now how do you protect your self from CV or any other germ contaminated fruit and veg? Hot soapy water like we do with inanimate objects when we get home?
I can't see soap or disinfectants being a practical or desirable practice, in fact either would likely ruin most fresh produce.

Glen 20 goes well with the phone / tablet / tools What Disinfectant For CV Explained.

If you don’t disinfect between the job and answering the phone you’ve potentially put the virus to your head What Disinfectant For CV Explained.
You’ll be amazed how many times you touch your face though, without realising it, or after the fact.

I washed all fresh produce when I got it home.
Then sat it out to dry, untouched on a rack, for 6+ hours.
As it’s over 26c (virus apparently doesn’t last long above that outside a host) and the time should mean it’s all gone from those items.

Boxed & bottle items were set out and given a dust over with Glen 20 and let sit for 10 minutes before being put away.

    Easy as....

Could be worse - could be a war and bombs dropping!
