I am in NZ. We (NZ) have been in Govt sanctioned and State of Emergency driven lockdown since 11.59Pm on wednesday.

My "front door" is now the computer monitor in front of me in terms of the wide world outside. Other than that, we can only take walks locally, drive to our GP or the pharmacy, or the supermarket. Cops are out policing it and these will be backed up by the military if required. State of Emergency is also in conjunction with a "Epidemic Notice" where the local Health Dept can also intervene in situations deemed necessary to stop the transmission.

Remember that the flu is actually still happening, despite all the talk being about Coronavirus. Have you had your flu shot yet?
A sore throat is more likely to be a cold or the flu.

Thats excellent! Much more hygenic than toilet paper. Should be a standard fitting, I think.

Yep, damn good call. I got mine a few days ago. I was interested to note it contained a couple of Aussies...

    • A/Brisbane/02/2018 (H1N1)pdm09-like virus; (strain change)
    • A/South Australia/34/2019 (H3N2)-like virus; (strain change)
    • B/Washington/02/2019-like (B/Victoria lineage) virus; (strain change) and
    • B/Phuket/3073/2013-like (B/Yamagata lineage) virus.

The jab was administered by a lovely nurse who joked about menopausal flushes while wearing a face mask or something to that effect...

Same as in NZ but that is for the general public. To those over a certain age, or with underlying health issues, we can get it here in NZ from last week. I am surprised a similar scheme does not run over there...

It does, just not widely advertised and appears to be a little location specific.
