Can one just replace half a Uni joint? Shirley the complete joint would have to be replaced or you could finish up with a new surface trying to mate up to a buggered surface. I know what I'd be doing but then I don't have a Discovery to be worried about that. Have you had a price for a complete LR driveshaft? A bit exxxxy I would think but I have never had to replace one. Anyway, good luck with your chosen Part.

Absolutely! Apart from the possibility that it may be slightly bent, the very thought of it letting go again will play on your mind.
You have enough crap to cope with without having a nagging worry in the back of your mind!

If you need a new shaft, Leonie, I have one that we could maybe AULRO Courier to you. It needs a uni (2 would 3better) but is undamaged.
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.

It doesn't take much damage to put a driveshaft out of balance.

While I have no personal experience of wheelchair use I am reliably informed they can sometimes be the most mouthy & cantankerous bloody things on 4 wheels. I'd nip it in the bud if I were you.
