Lucky girl, uni failures can be expensive and dangerous.

Very lucky, it started making the noise on my way to my medical appointment, I new what it was but didn't think was actually going to fail like it did. I just said to my car "please get me there, I really need this appointment today" we'll bless her cotton socks she did but not much further! I got under and looked before I started the drive home and it all seemed not too bad, gave everything a wobble, deemed yep should be ok. It wasn't The COVID-19 & Corona free thread.
Lesson learned though. Not a mistake of judgement I'll ever repeat. My car looks after me and I really let it down with not stopping before it let go.

Got a spare one dads just putting on it but it's not nicest looking prop shaft. I think I'll just replace whole bit and hope it already has all uni joints ready to go haha
I got stuck on the floor for a while.
It doesn't need to be a nice looking one with Floral Motifs & ribbons so long it appears ok for now until you replace it.

Thing to watch is if it has 200 grease Nipples for future lubrication. More is better, but not quite 200 though, if you get my drift.

Some new unis don't have ANY, so I wouldn't bother fitting one of those. Your one looks like a Seizure failure ie. seized then snapped. New ones might be claimed to have Sealed for Life but you take your chances, personally I like summat to get a grease gun on & then you know it is Lubed. I guess you have asked the lads at Bridgewater?
