Nice rig, I’d reckon you get a few willing to tag along.

I thought about ausie inspection as well. Seeing as the (german) guy from the vid I posted had a non standard, albeit not as heavily modified, GU that simple passed with only a brake and light test, or so he describes it, I wonder how hard it would be to drive a foreign car in .au. One can simply claim it is road legal in the uk and be done with it? I have no clue really.
I do know of another bloke from germany (also from ronny's modified) that shipped over a monster landcruiser and that was not a problem it seems... Here, let me pull that up for you: YouTubeThe guy runs 37's on an extended 80 series etc etc and clearly had not trouble getting it into .au. This vehicle in germany and approved by the TUV.
I'll be following this thread/adventure closely

PS perhaps get in touch with them? They both have a website up on which they can no doubt be contacted.
Thanks for the info and YouTube links, from the research we've done here about the Carent the hard part to work out is the cleaning of the vehicle, I get that it needs to be clean, but to what extent does the inspection go to? Do they check inside the chassis, do they use cameras to look inside every nook and cranny?
Still loads to work through, I really appreciate all the help I'm getting from this forum.
