Not to mention the $600 Covid bonus to posties - probably a larger % of salary than the $3000 watches are of the Execs salaries.

PS - talking about luxury rewards - do we have the new speed machine yet? You taking it to driver training next month?

Absolutely it was and if we want to return to that situation then lets re nationalise it. Its a bit like being partly pregnant - there isnt such a thing, AP is either an enterprise that is government owned paying a divident to government through its economic activity or it is a government department running as a cost centre that may recover some of those costs but isnt defined by corporate policies designed to make a profit.

The PMG was a service department providing, mail, telephone, telegraph, the ABC, and many other services across Australia with offices in the big cities and the smallest hamlets. Some people thought that something doing a bloody good job could be privatised and do better. Ha, bloody Ha.

Dunno, I thought the watch 'bonuses' was way out of line for well salaried 'public servants'.

Performance bonuses are normal business practice.
I get far more angry when corporate heavy weights get there bonus regardless of performance. Or lack there off.
If the execs did a good job & earned the company many hundreds of thousands then a $3000 watch is a drop in the ocean.
To me it is a storm in a tea cup.

I just want my small parcel that was last recorded as having arrived in Perth on 8th from Singapore. An online inquiry lodged last w/e hasn't received any attention but prevents any other online inquiry. The phone tracking inquiry can't decipher tracking numbers, skips parts of its messages then says good-bye and hangs-up.

Can't find a Cartier that cheap on their website? Must be a Chinese knockoff, eBay special.
